12/21 Slow Grind on the Cod…Island Current III Snug Harbor, RI Captain Scott reported that today was a very tough pick on the codfish grounds. This morning we were greeted by a large crowd of anglers eager to get out on the spectacular fishing we’ve been experiencing. Along with the codfish today there was a nice by catch of black Seabass. High hook today was Angel from City Island, New York. Pool fish was 21 pounds. The size of the fish have been excellent. 
Tomorrow is a new day and we will be sailing at 5 am for Cod and Sea Bass.
