Today, 1/15 both of the ISLAND CURRENT FLEET boats were o and reported good winter codfishing. Ca. Brendan at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT II and reported a wonderful trip for Bruno S. and his private charter. The group had several very impressive fish over the 30 pound range. It looks as though another bigger body of fish moved into the area.
Ca. James was at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT III with a great group of guys and gals from the Bronx. Andre and his crew experienced a good bite of winter codfish. Ca. James also commented on the larger size cod making their presence. Overall, a fantastic day of winter codfishing for both boats.
Please note we have cancelled our PRIVATE CHARTER & OPEN BOAT trip for Sunday, 1/16 due to the weather.
