Today 1/14 the ISLAND CURRENT III sailed with Ca. James at the helm for another SOLID day of winter codfishing. The early morning bite in the darkness was SUPER! In fact, it remained superb until around 8 AM. At that point, the fishing was a steady pick until it broke loose again in the afternoon.
Hi-Hook specialist was Eric Anderson from CT with an impressive demonstration of jig fishing at its finest. Congratulations goes o to Donny Grippo, from Nyack, NY for taking the pool with a beaiful green 15 pound cod.
