3/18 Codfishing Aboard Island Current III…Snug Harbor RIWell, Mother Nature finally allowed us to get off the dock. Weather conditions were ideal as the seas were flat calm.
Capt. Scott tried a variety of spots until he was able to hone in on some fish as he ventured further to the east. High hook today was 7 keepers while most guys has between 3-5 fish apiece. It was a pleasure fishing with Bill H & his crew.
We will be keeping a close eye on the weather and trying to get out this Monday and Tuesday providing the weather cooperates and there’s enough freight to commence sailing.
