Today, Tues., 1/25 both the ISLAND CURRENT II & the ISLAND CURRENT III were o on the cod grounds. Both Ca. James & Ca. Brendan reported another ostanding day of codfishing.
Ca. Brendan mentioned that Anthony Reyes from Brooklyn, NY and Bong Kim from Flushing, Queens had a banner day with all quailty fish. Full boat limit being the norm.
Ca. James reported pool fish going to JR DeCuffa from Jack`s Bait & Tackle with a 27 pounder. There were also two other fish in the twenty pound class. Overall all the fish were better size fish in the 7 to 10 pound range.
Our next scheduled trips are Friday, 1/28, Sat., 1/29, & Sun., 1/30. Please note that on Saturday, 1/29 we have both the ISLAND CURRENT II sailing as a LIMITED LOAD. The IC2 will sail with a min. of 10 passengers and be max. o at 18 passengers. We also have the 76` ISLAND CURRENT III sailing as the OPEN BOAT at 3 AM.
