Excellent Codfishing Wed., 3/7 for ISLAND CURRENT FLEET
Wednesday, 3/7 we had both boats on the codfish grounds. Both boats reported very good action all at anchor. Ca. Brendan was oard the ISLAND CURRENT II for Pete F. and his crew from Upstate New York. Their crew had a very good day of action as there was plenty of cod bending the rods.
Some hightlights of today`s codfish trip oard the ISLAND CURRENT III included John R., from Danbury, CT with 14 (ORL), Earl & Braden from NJ with a combined 30 (ORL), and Pete, Dan, & Rob from Brooklyn, NY with a total of 35 keepers (ORL). Pool fish was caught by Frankie “Fillet” weighing in at a resple 15 pounds.
