Goliath COD being CAUGHT ON ISLAND CURRENT III
Today, 3/18 Ca. James was at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT III and boy what a difference a day makes. Today we had a light crowd and the fish were on target. Not only were there some decent numbers the size of these fish were “GOLIATH.” Long time regular, Dennis S., from City Island, NY lead the way with 6 keeper cod to 20 pounds, Cistina from NJ drove up to to some codfishing and was rewarded with 6 keeper cod to 22 pounds, long time regular John M., from Albany, NY had 5 keeper cod to 24 pounds, John J., from MA also had 6 keepers to 30 pounds, and Tee-Nuck L., from Queens took the pool with a 36 pounder! Today oard the ISLAND CURRENT III it was SIZE & very resple numbers.
Ca. Paul was at the helm of the 50` ISLAND CURRENT II with a FULL BOAT and reported a tough grind working the local Block Island areas. Ca. Paul & Luca worked hard with chumming and passing around the fresh skimmers b it never materialized.
