GOOD CODFISHING OARD THE IC2 & IC3
Saturday, Feb., 23rd Good Codfishing on both boats!
Today, 2/23 Ca. Brendan was at the skipper oard the 76` ISLAND CURRENT III. The day started off picky b tough persistence Ca. Brendan found the COD once again. Here are some of the notle catches for today`s codfish excursion: Mike S. Sr. & Jr. along with Louie B., from CT had a combined 31 keepers (ORL), Tony T. from CT took the pool with a plump 18 pound green cod and also limited o, & Mark & Crew had a total of 27 keepers.
Ca. Scott was oard the Private Charter for Sal F. and his group from NY and reported a solid day of fishing for the 10 anglers. Pool fish were in the hi-teens and several guys easily had there limits. Ca. Scott worked a variety of areas b found the majority of the fish to the east.
All open boat trips & private charters for Sun., Feb., 24th are cancelled due to the predicted gale force winds. Our next trip is scheduled for Monday, Feb., 25th so please remember to call the office to make your reservations and check in on the weather.
The ISLAND CURRENT FLEET is sailing daily at 2 AM oard the 76` ISLAND CURRENT III and fully stocked with fresh skimmer clams and plenty of shell bait for chum.
