Capt. Scott reported an absolute amazing day of spring Codfishing that could only be described as EPIC. He said that it was “by far the best trip of Codfishing in years!”
Double headers were pretty much the norm as it was lock-n-load from start to finish. Capt. Scott sent along some insane reading of fish piled up and on the feed.
We had a full boat limit of codfish by 9 am and we’re headed back to the barn hours early. A lot of conservationist played the catch and release game only retaining their limits.
We had a very nice crowd of anglers that were extremely happy with the phenomenal fishing.
Some notable catches of the day included capt. Rob & Chris from Brooklyn with 39 keepers, Sean Endres from CT and his group of three all easily limited out, flacko & his cousins from the Bronx has 43 keepers, peter ray from CT had 21, pat o brien had 23 keepers, & pool fish went to mike p.from Brooklyn took home the cash with a 13 pounder.
