ISLAND CURRENT FLEET: OPEN BOAT & PRIVATE CHARTERS
Ca. Scott ran the private charter on Tuesday`s heavy SW Gale and managed some blues even though it was nothing like it had been the night & day before. Then on Wednesday, Ca. Dan reported very good bottom fishing on the local reefs and deepwater wrecks. Ca. Scott was oard the ISLSAND CURRENT III and reported an upswing in the bluefish action with the better action occurring to the east.
The evening trip on Wed., night was stellar. Full boat limits for everyone with fish in the 3 to 12 pound range. There have been a few nice striped bass mixing in with the catch.
Ca. James reported steady porgy fishing as most of the fish were in the 2 to 3 pound class. Worms have still been o producing the clams.
We are sailing daily at 6:30 PM as an open boat and PRIVATE CHARTERS are availle seven days or nights a week.
