STRIPED BASS SEASON GETTING READY
We have sailed everyday for flounders and overall the action continues to be better than in most years. Hi-hooks have been common and pool fish have been 2 to 2 1/2 pounds.
There is lots of bait in the area and today Ca. Dan was o and reported steady catch and release bass fishing with Striped Bass up to 18 pounds. All bass were safely released.
We are sailing everyday at 8 AM for FLOUNDERS o of City Island, NY from Jacks Bait & Tackle, 1st traffic light, right hand side. Plenty of room this entire weekend, so come on down and enjoy the calm sheltered waters of the LI Sound.
