Wow! Fantastic Sunday Cod Crush
Sunday, 3/4 both the 76` ISLAND CURRENT III & 50` ISLAND CURRENT II were o on the cod grounds. Ca. Scott who was oard the ISLAND CURRENT III reported an unbelievele day on the cod grounds. With Full Boat limits and hi-hooks in the 40`s (ORL) it was truly an amazing day! High-hook honors went to reefman who just crushed the fish using his special jig technique. Today although most of the fish were caught on bait, those that worked the jigs also did very well. Mark M., from NJ and his group p a phenomenal catch together for his group. Great quanity & quailty all around today.
Ca. Paul was the skipper of the 50` ISLAND CURRENT II and also was enthusiastic in reporting back a FULL BOAT LIMIT for Vasil S., from CT and his fantastic group. Lots of COD & lots of LING. Now is the time to BOOK your BLOCK ISLAND COD charters. We have Tues., availle and the weather looks super!
