Today, Wed., 2/6/13 Ca. James was ecstatic to report another amazing day of winter CODFISHING. A great group of anglers enjoyed a tremendous early morning bite and it was one stop shopping. It did slow up by the afternoon b by that time the boat had its limit. Here are some highlights of today`s CODFISHING safari: Fish Counter Bob took the pool with a 20 pound cod and had 20 fish (orl), Dawn & Tom from from eastern CT caught 18 fish on their first winter codfish oing, Joe M., from the FDNY in the Bronx had limited o early and was towing fish back most of the day, Andy D and Jeff G., from Rockland County, NY had a combined 22 (orl) and had fish up to 18 pounds, and Jeff from Glastbury, CT had 17 cod (orl).
The ISLAND CURRENT FLEET is sailing at 4 AM and fully stocked with fresh skimmer clams and plenty of shell bait for chum.
